Regular Maintenance
Grit, gravel and dirt are the biggest enemies of floor finishes. We at Schenck & Company recommend exterior doormats to remove the coarse grit outside and interior floor mats to catch fine grit. Clean these mats regularly by vacuuming or shaking. Area rugs should be used in high-traffic areas and glides should be used under all furniture.
